Veronaville, Day 3 - Day 4
12 Mar 2017 10:10 am Early days, continued. Rotations were so short back then! Pictures link to the relevant post on my simblr.
Day 3

(I should've guessed by then that Puck would give me trouble...)
Day 4

I can pin-point the moment I fell in love with Veronaville on these two rotations. I already had a soft spot for Puck. My reaction when I looked at his stats was, "Oh you poor kid, it's going to be a painful world for you to live in" (shy/nice isn't a great combo for a popularity sim). He quickly proved me wrong. Then his father started smiling; that smile! I don't want him to ever stop smiling. Then Miranda adopted Pepper. And Ariel was, basically, just being Ariel, giving off enough energy and joy for the world to go round.
I've played Strangetown before, and I've played Widespot -- two hoods with wonderful, dysfunctional characters --, as well as a couple of custom hoods. I love them all, but Veronaville is my happy place.

Veronaville, Day 12.01 - Capp
8 Mar 2017 07:24 pmConsort wanted to see his grandchildren, so he invited them over -- the new boyfriends and girlfriend tagged along. They were first greeted, sort of, by Riley:

Veronaville, Day 11.13-16 New dorm
2 Mar 2017 02:28 pmSo, I *know* you all thought there weren’t enough Uni updates on my blog! I heard your cries of distress, yes yes I did. Fear not, for I have a solution: I’ve split the kids into two groups. Mainly because, with three girlfriends competing for his favours, Romeo was not only struggling with his studies; he was struggling to stay alive! But also because, generally speaking, I was missing out on some interactions and play-time with some of the kids, especially the more independent ones (Aludra, I’m looking at you).
Thirdly, I’m starting to think I’ll call this bunch “the kids” forever, even when they’ll be well into their eighties.
Goneril and Albany Capp's household is the source of much cuteness, and of just as much deception.
The cuteness:

Bianca, Kent, Cornwall and Regan are being kept so busy by the babies that they seem to have forgotten that they still can't stand each other. Ely gets a lot of attention, being the youngest, but the toddlers aren't being forgotten.

Veronaville - Day 1
5 Nov 2016 10:47 amFirst, this is pretty much a reblog of the original Tumblr posts -- I've just created a Dreamwidth journal, but I don't want to lose the early parts of the "story" (loosely defined term, i.e. "what sort of mess did my sims create this time"). I hope Dreamwidth will allow me to stay more organised.

I started playing Veronaville in November 2016, and this was my first rotation... It's fun to look back on the very first days!

So first impressions of Dreamwidth? Posting pictures is definitely more awkward than on Tumblr. I'll need to read on tutorials, especially as there doesn't seem to be a way to create albums (which would make things easier to organise). On the other hand, YAY for proper tags and comments!
