Consort wanted to see his grandchildren, so he invited them over -- the new boyfriends and girlfriend tagged along. They were first greeted, sort of, by Riley:

The penguin isn't impressed. What are those kids going to talk about? Maths, maths and more maths? Boring. His advice -- melt down while you can, buddy.

Tybalt hopes Aludra will meet Consort's very exacting standards.

She does. They haven't even made it inside yet that Consort and Aludra have already had an argument, followed by a lively, somewhat friendlier conversation. Only *somewhat*, but that's a good thing, in Consort's books. It means that Aludra isn't afraid of holding her own.

Gill Cosmos isn't quite as successful. He finds refuge by the parrot -- scary bird, but not as scary as the thought of Consort becoming Gill's grandfather-in-law!

Can you say "Awwwwwww?" I was of two minds about Gill, but with this, frankly, he just became one of "the" kids. Still a dormie, though. But he'll join the ranks, sooner or later.
I had a peek at his wants a bit later, and he was all, "pet Riley", "command Riley to come here", "uh oh I hope Riley doesn't get stinky" (tough; Riley's a slob, deal with it!). Gill's sweet. I'm used to most dormies being popularity or romance, with a side serving of lazy; I can't remember for sure, but I think he's a knowledge sim, active, neat-ish, and nice. He hasn't endeared himself to me the way Aludra has, at least not yet, but I like him. I like having him around.

Meanwhile, Consort, who still can't cook a damn but is fed up with pizza, asked Hermia (Queen of the Pasta Bake on Day 1) to cook. Surely Uni has improved her cooking skills? Well. I'll let you be the judge of that.

So it was back to pizza, as usual. And yes, Juliette was here; so was Mitch Indie. They were nowhere to be seen, mostly; dunno, making out or something. I still don't care much about Mitch, but whatev'. Max Flexxor came along and spent most of his time freezing his nuts off in the swimming pool. He's a lot more fun than Mitch.
And finally, guess who turned up? Oberon. Yep, that's right. My Bad Penny didn't fall far off the tree.
(Oberon and Consort are really good friends; surprised me a bit, but hey. It's Oberon.)
(I made a point of not inviting any of the Summerdreams. My game is trolling me.)
