Goneril and Albany Capp's household is the source of much cuteness, and of just as much deception.
The cuteness:

And this is why I keep going to back to Goneril and Albany’s household, even though it’s cramped and probably mouldy and *so* stressful. But they gave me Miranda, whom I adore; Hal, who’s such a nice, self-sufficient kid that he makes it seem easy; Desdemona, who grew up in a kimono; Ariel, my little tomboy (not enough pictures of her, she runs around a lot); the twins; and Pepper!
The lies:

The day hasn't even started, that already Desdemona looks worried.

Desdemona claims she has no homework so that she can chat with her brother. She can even fool her father into believing that her grades are going up.

But she can't fool herself any longer.
She’s struggling, and she’s been hiding it for so long that she doesn’t dare asking for help. She could turn to her brother, but he’s so busy helping with the twins that she feels it’d be too much to ask.
So she puts a lid on the issue. It’s something she’s learned from her parents: if you can’t fix something, the best thing to do is to forget about it.
